Summer Scholars

Launch a rocket, investigate a crime scene, whip up tasty dishes ... and so much more! If you are entering the third through the 10th grade in the fall, spend the summer with us!

Summer Scholars is a summer enrichment program for gifted and talented students with classes covering exciting topics such as history, self expression, career exploration, culinary arts, STEM disciplines, problem solving, technology and digital arts.

Both half-day and full-day options are available in addition to before and after care.

Step 1: Please complete the following forms and upload all three at the time of registration:

If you have questions regarding the Gifted and Talented Status Verification form, please see the Gifted and Talented Eligibility tab below.

Step 2:  Choose courses from the drop-down menu below to start the registration process.

If you are registering multiple children, each child must have a separate account with a separate email address.

Step 3:  Look for your schedule confirmation and welcome packet via email mid-June.

Check to see if your courses require a waiver and/or field trip form. Complete and return the form(s) via email.

Confirm that schedule and authorized pick-up contacts are correct and up to date.

Classes are offered Monday through Friday for four weeks in July.
Registration for summer 2026 courses will open in mid-March.

A student’s gifted and talented status is determined by his or her school (see form link above). This designation is based on outstanding abilities in the areas of 1) general intellectual capabilities; 2) specific academic aptitudes; or 3) the creative, visual or performing arts. Note: Students who have participated in past Summer Scholars courses must have their eligibility reverified annually.
