Work Experience

I am a Registered Nurse, having earned my CPN in 2008 and my ADN in 2009. My clinical background includes roles as a floor nurse and home care nurse, as well as serving as a unit manager of a 40-bed rehabilitation unit, where I developed strong leadership and organizational skills.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Nursing Education, which has supported my transition into academic roles. For 11 years, I served as Co-Director of the Wicomico County CTE Health Occupations program, combining my clinical knowledge with curriculum development and planning, clinical coordination and student mentorship.

Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor of Nursing in both NUR 101 and NUR 111 in the CPN program at Wor-Wic Community College. I am the course coordinator for NUR 101, where I lead foundational instruction for incoming nursing students and guide them through the beginning of their professional journey.

My career reflects a deep commitment to both quality patient care and excellence in nursing education, with strengths in leadership, curriculum development, and student-centered teaching.
